  • Fill in your personal information

    Please fill in the online form with your personal information. The information submitted in the form must be the one of the applicant. Please make sure that you submit your current phone number and email address as you will be contacted by Correos De Costa Rica once your passport or Consular Reports of Birth Abroad (CRBAs) is ready. The delivery service is only available in the following Correos de Costa Rica branches:


    SAN JOSÉ:Administración Central, Centro Postal Zapote, Escazú, Pérez Zeledón, Pavas

    ALAJUELA: Alajuela, Atenas, Ciudad Quesada, Grecia, La Fortuna, Los Chiles, Orotina, Pital, San Ramón, Upala, Zarcero

    CARTAGO: Cartago, Turrialba

    HEREDIA: Heredia, Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí, San Antonio de Belén

    GUANACASTE: El Coco, La Cruz, Liberia, Nicoya, Sámara, Santa Cruz, Tillarán, Villareal (Tamarindo)

    PUNTARENAS: Ciudad Neily, Cóbano, Golfito, Jacó, Puerto Jiménez, Puntarenas, Quepos

    LIMÓN: Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, Limón

  • Payment method

    Please fill in your personal credit card information so the service could be charged.

    The system of payment and authentication of debit and credit cards are made through the platform of the National Bank V-POS. The V-POS works with the authentication protocols, Verified by VISA and SecureCode that provide security and online verification of the identity of the cardholder and follow the rules for International operations of VISA and MasterCard. The information travels in an encrypted way with the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) security protocol, thus protecting the confidentiality of the information.

  • Save and print your invoice

    If the payment was accepted, your invoice will be sent to the email address submitted in the initial form. Alternatively, you can save your invoice in .PDF and print it.

  • Call the US embassy to schedule an appointment

    Once you have your invoice, please contact the US Embassy to schedule an appointment
